Michigan State has extended a scholarship offer to a potential under-the-radar defensive end prospect in the 2023 class.
Desmond Umeozulu of Upper Marlboro, Md. has received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. He tweeted the news out on Wednesday evening.
Umeozulu is currently unranked on 247Sports, but has already received interest from numerous power programs. He now holds scholarship offers from Michigan State, Boston College, Maryland, Pitt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Old Dominion.
Keep an eye on the recruitment of Umeozulu as he could be a guy who starts to pick up more traction on the recruiting trail.
