Buffalo fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Northern Illinois Huskies on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 33-27. The contest was a 10-10 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulls were outplayed the rest of the way. Buffalo’s loss came about despite a quality game from RB Dylan McDuffie, who rushed for one TD and 125 yards on 29 carries.
Meanwhile, Ball State lost to the Central Michigan Chippewas at home by a decisive 37-17 margin. RB Carson Steele put forth a good effort for the losing side as he punched in one rushing touchdown.
