The day after Alabama’s national championship loss to the Georgia Bulldogs, Jahleel Billingsley announced that he would be entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Just a few days later, Billingsley has found his new home. Earlier this afternoon the talented tight end announced his commitment to the Texas Longhorns.
Billingsley will be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, who is now the head coach at Texas.
Billingsley’s commitment was confirmed by Eric Nahlin of Inside Texas which is a part of On3 Sports.
Billingsley hauled in 37 receptions for 559 yards and six touchdowns in his three years at Alabama.
