One of the top uncommitted recruits in the 2022 recruiting class is set to announce his commitment with National Signing Day on the horizon. Jahlil Florence, a four-star cornerback, will make his college choice official on Monday at 5 p.m. ET live on CBS Sports HQ. Florence is ranked as the No. 18 cornerback and No. 155 overall recruit in the current class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He has narrowed his college choices down to Oregon, Michigan, USC, Arizona and Boise State. The 247Sports Crystal Ball gives the Ducks the best chance of landing Florence’s services.
As the top-ranked uncommitted cornerback in the class, the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder from Lincoln High School in San Diego had 31 tackles, five interceptions and defended 10 passes in 11 games last season. He also thrived on the track and field team, clocking a 10.77 100-meter dash and 21.93 200-meter dash times in May.
