One of the top West Coast prospects available on the board will make his college commitment live Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports HQ when four-star offensive lineman Dave Iuli picks between Miami, Oregon, Oregon State and others on National Signing Day. Iuli checks in at 6-5, 315 pounds and ranks as the No. 10 interior offensive lineman in the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 3 player from the state of Washington, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s holding offers from many of the top Pac-12 programs, but the story of his recruitment follows Mario Cristobal’s cross-country move from Oregon to Miami.
The Ducks were the projected leaders to land Iuli’s commitment prior to Cristobal’s exit from Eugene, but now the 247Sports Crystal Ball shows the Hurricanes as the favorites to land a player who could push the team’s 2022 class ranking up into the top 25 nationally. Iuli is one of two big names to watch for Cristobal’s first signing day as head coach of his alma mater, along with five-star defensive lineman Shemar Stewart.
