College football teams likely to bounce-back in 2022

This offseason has provided much needed optimism for many programs that struggled in 2021.

Some programs made significant changes via the transfer portal or coaching carousel. LSU and USC broke the bank for Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly. Two coaches who have proven they can win at a high level. Riley also landed the top-rated player in the portal Caleb Williams.

Miami made headlines late in the game by landing Mario Cristobal away from Oregon. Cristobal is one of the best recruiters in the nation and hired an excellent staff to join him.

Other big-name schools like Texas and Florida State bring lots of production back and did extremely well adding talent in the transfer portal. The Longhorns added former five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers and a couple of weapons along with him. Not to mention Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy return to lead the offense.
